HORSE AND HUSBAND WIN!!! AT DEVON BREED SHOW 2010

After preparing Calvin for his tour with Chuck, I turned away only briefly, and much to my horror, Calvin was down and sleeping. Folks, that is a lot of white to get spotless!!!
I told Chuck before his class to smile, have fun, and be proud of our amazing yearling -- well, he sure did smile!

The only other thing that I told Chuck (LOL) is that he was not allowed to get last place or to get a white ribbon as we already have plenty of 4th place ribbons from Devon 2008 and 2009.

Chuck and Calvin did a super job in the Adult Amateur Handler Class at Dressage at Devon Breed Show 2010. The judge commented on how great Chuck's turning technique was and on how well mannered Calvin was. The scores for all who competed were deservedly very close, but, at the end of the day, Chuck and Calvin went home with the blue and the trophy!!! Thank goodness there was no more white ribbons in 2010! Check back soon on current news section for completed video and pictures of their winning tour..............
