Dressage At Heavenly Waters Ribbon Gallery. Congrats to Claudia, Loretta, Lizzy, Suzanne, Jackie & Ali. Suzanne and Brisk won Reserve Champion Second Level. Phoebe & Windsong rode as non-competing team both days.
Virginia Summer Dressage in Culpepper, Va was another very successful show for all of our riders!! We took7 horses and 2 foals to this show, so it was a busy weekend for sure!! This show marked the first recognized competition for 3yo Do I Dazzle You and for our two resident foals.
Suzanne Veltri's foal, Simply Aristocratic, was Grand Champion Foal. Claudia's foal, Suitable Attire, was Reserve Champion Foal. There was less then a point difference between the filly's scores AND, they both had (by a landslide) the highest scores given all day for the in hand classes!!! Both fillies qualified for East Coast Championships not just by winning champ and reserve but on their high scores alone. Congrats!!
Phoebe & Veronica made their First Level debut together -- winning the class. They had a flawless test together in the 4 YO Markel Q, more then likely securing a place to compete at the Finals in Chicago area this coming August. Stay posted!!
Dressage at Blue Goose II was a light show for us as we only took 2 horses!! Wow, that was really a break for us. Jackie had her best test at 3rd Level so far this season, scoring a 66+%. Ali rode the same mare to place 2nd with a 62% at 2nd 2 and qualify for BLM -- this was the pairs first time to compete 2nd level....yeah!!! Phoebe competed Wallstreet Prince for the first time ever and won 2nd 2 with a 66%. Claudia also competed Prince at 2nd level and had her smoothest test at Second Level, to date.
