SOPRANO

R. REMINISCE owned by Suzanne Veltri

R.STAR owned by Claudia

Two of Thornridge's resident mares are just about to be bred to SOPRANO!!! Top on my criteria of making a short list of stallions options, I decided an additional important factor was not to choose a local stallion that was over saturated in the mid-atlantic region. Well, both Claudia and Suzanne were surprised with my final stallion choice as he resides not even 30 mins away from home!!! Soprano met all of our needs for both mares and his owner is very particular in accepting mares to breed to him. So, even though Soprano is very close in proximity, his bulk of offspring are still in Europe, and thanks to good stallion ownership methodology he is anything but "over bred" in our area!!! Our farm's claim to fame is not as a breeding operation, but after having so much fun with Dressed To Kill aka
"Calvin," we decided it was time to put a few of our special mares into production mode!!!! Everyone is beyond excited and looking forward to having to foals to dote over in Spring 2012. Of course, there will be many picture chronicles to ensue.

We would also like to report that Thornridge Manor's Wallstreet Romance is getting bred to Rascalino this spring. Good luck , Chris!!!

And we would like to send our congratulations out to friends Jess Systo of VT for the purchase of EM Davinia in foal to Libery Gold (full sibling to sale horse Legacy of Gold) and to Chris Kropf of NY on the purchase of MS Winsome in foal to Donarweiss and MS Boario in foal to DeLaurentis (full sibling to sale horse Dare To Dream). All of us at TM are sending you good luck this foaling season and for years to come!!!!
