My new friend joined me on daily beach walks and minimized my usual homesickness.
"Pepito" is a stray that has 3 legs. He is just the most friendly and thankful dog I have ever met. I would have loved to bring him home with me.
Chuck got a board out and went surfing for the first time. The area that we stayed in is a huge surfing destination. I'd say he did quite well for the first time up:
In November, we traveled to Costa Rica for several weeks to celebrate our 5th year anniversary and to take some much needed down time after the 2010 show season. We stayed at a friends amazing private beach home in the Central Pacific area....the two of us were ants compared to the size of this beautiful home. After preparing with our travel books prior to the trip, I have to admit that we lost all ambition once on the beach out of our back door. We ended up only traveling an hour north and south of our location to see the county side. But, in the process, we did get some incredible nature photography and plan to work on a snapfish album for everyone to view. Costa Rica is our favorite vacation destination to date and we hope to return next year. So, it seems as though Rosetta Stone will be our next amazon order.....we are excited and committed to learning better Spanish.
