Sat, Aug 14: I had the opportunity to donate judging to the Caitlin Ben-Dor Memorial Scholarship Fund Dressage Show. It was a rewarding experience and truly speaks of the importance of family. Margaret and her "extended family" at Whispering Spring Farm are a wonderful group of people that remember Caitin with joy and have committed to sharing her love of horses with other young riders. After judging, I have decided to do as much as I can personally to make next year's show even larger and more celebratory.
Sun, Aug 15: My family got together to celebrate my parent's Golden 50th Wedding Anniversary. I have been blessed with incredible parents and role models. Their commitment to build a life together, in all it's adversity, continues to be a daily inspiration for Chuck and I.
Mon, Aug 16: Claudia and I had the chance to skip town and head down to Lewes for another Winswept Stables Dressage Clinic as part of their 2 week long Eventer's Camp. Many of our students were members of the Small Wonders Pony Club. I love to give back to an organization that was a foundation for horses in my life.
Tues, Aug 17: Today marks the 4th session of lessons with the Long Green Pony Club "D's" before they head off to the Dressage Rally. Kiddos, you are ready, Have a blast.
